Huntsville Dinner And Show: For Immediate Release

Caribbean Theme Dinner and Show in Huntsville Alabama. Never Have a Boring Dinner Date again

GEM, a non-profit organization established in 1991 to offer supplemental education in English, Math and Science to elementary and high school students, will hold its monthly fundraiser Dinner & Show at Mangos Restaurant on University Drive in Huntsville, Alabama on March 29, 2014 from 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm.

The event includes a lineup of steel band music, comedy, soloist and a buffet dinner in a family-friendly atmosphere. The organization\'s previous event which took place on Valentine\'s weekend was well received by the Huntsville Metro community, and it realizes the need to provide this combination of family-friendly entertainment as a fundraiser as well as an added item to Huntsville tourism product mix.

President of GEM, Rolston Carryl said: “Most of the proceeds go to help defray the cost of offering free tutoring in Math and Science to under-performing students at the Ed White Middle School.” In the first semester nationwide testing, 75% of the students in the program improved their scores by an average of 12.3%.
